New Game of Thrones Book Comes Out Tomorrow. Unfortunately, it is not the one you want.

We all eagerly await The Winds of Winter; it feels like we've been waiting for Winter to come for a very long time. Rest assured that GRRM is working tirelessly to finish the book. At least, we hope he is.

Fortunately, between books and between seasons, there is a new way to scratch your Game of Thrones itch. Tomorrow The World of Ice and Fire will be released, a world encyclopedia in full color that explains some of the back-story of Westeros and its surrounding continents.

As always, when the new season starts, you can come here to get links to watch Game of Thrones free online.

Game of Thrones Live Stream

This site is the best place to get links to Game of Thrones streams. Every Sunday, visits us for the best-quality links available. Season 4 is gearing up to be the best season yet, so don't miss out on an episode just because you happen to not get HBO. The internet is your HBO. Many streams are available, but many of them are not good. They stutter, the audio is too low, the streamer likes to set up recordings of Knife Fight during the episode. All of these things can make for a bad stream, so we weed them out and only provide links to good ones.

GOT Season 4 Premier Was The Most-Streamed TV Drama Ever

Game of Thrones livestreams were on fire last Sunday after hundreds of thousands of fans realized they still did not have HBO, or, if they did, that HBO Go had died from exhaustion, and clambered onto the internet in search of that quality fantasy crack we all know and love. This made the premier the most-streamed TV drama ever. It would have been the most streamed TV event ever if it weren't for pesky Superbowls and Olympics.

The Game of Thrones Board Game is Actually Pretty Fun

Buy It Here

Just like video games based on movies, I've always felt some aversion to boardgames based on other existing properties. There are exceptions: the Battlestar Galactica boardgame, Dune, and this, the Game of Thrones Boardgame.

I recently played this with some friends and was surprised with the exceedingly clever combat mechanic where you must plan your movements in advance (openly, with some methods of subversion) and everyone takes their turn at the same time. This means you have to anticipate what your opponent will do and take the necessary steps, all while trying to accomplish your own goals.

The Boardgame does not contain any spoilers other than the fact that some characters exist. If you have finished the first book or the first season, you're golden. No spoilers for you. For this reason, I recommend this game to any fan of Game of Thrones.

Season 4 Trailer #4: The Devil

So this trailer has less action than the previous one, but considerably more character interaction. We see Brienne promising Jaime to find Arya Stark. We see Jaime and Cercei's relationship deteriorating (though I think they are about to have sex at the end of the trailer). We also get to see Dany laying siege to what I think is Meereen.

Breaking: Martin Actually Chooses To Write

In a recent interview, George RR Martin state that he and HBO had conspired to aid his own well known procrastinatory proclivities with a cameo in this coming season.  Luckily, Martin awoke from his pizza-induced fever dreams and realized he had a book to write, The Winds Of Winter, and that, no, he did not have time to fly to Croatia and stroke his own ego on the set of The Game Of Thrones.

Game Of Thrones Movie Possible, Says George RR Martin

A Song Of Ice And Fire author, who is probably just trying to find new reasons not to write, decrepit old procrastinator that he is, has stated that HBO executives are thinking of making a high budget movie to wrap up the series when the time comes. For anyone who has been disappointed by the budget-conscious treatment of some of the book's more epic battles, the prospect of seeing Martin's story come to life on the big screen with lord-of-the-rings-level visuals is exciting indeed.
Of course,  it is not clear whether the movie would be released in theaters, or simply shown on HBO like other HBO original movies.

Readers Worried That Season 4 Will Be The Last Interesting Season

It is no secret among readers that A Storm Of Swords, the third book in George R.R. Martin's Song of Ice and Fire series, is not only one of the best in the series, but certain the most action-packed. A Feast For Crows, the fourth book, sees some of the more interesting character's drop completely off the radar, while other less-interesting characters, like Brienne, take up the slack. This was because Martin split the story up, with A Feast For Crows and A Dance With Dragons taking place at the same time. Presumably, the show's creators will combine the books, which, together, have at least two season's worth of content.

But readers are worried that A Feast for Crows and A Dance With Dragons will make for dull television. Some characters, like Dany, do not develop as quickly as some readers would like. Other's, like Arya, do develop, but are taken away from the main action.

Whatever happens, the Game of Thrones writers have their work cut out for them in the coming seasons.

Game of Thrones is Having a Positive Economic Influence on Northern Ireland and Iceland

Over its three seasons, Game of Thrones has filmed in over four countries. Filming nearly always has a positive impact on the location's economy, due to the jobs created to make the show.
