About the Game of Thrones Livestream

Game of Thrones (Game of Thrones Livestream) is an american fantasy TV show made by HBO.  It is based on the book series, A Song of Ice and Fire by George R.R. Martin.  The first book is titled "A Game of Thrones;" the second, "A Clash of Kings;" then "A Storm of Swords," A Feast for Crows," and "A Dance with Dragons."

The TV show and the books are set in Westeros and Essos, both fictional continents.  Time is strange there, and the series begins at the end of a multi-year-long summer.  Winter is coming.  The series follows a number of characters from noble houses as they battle and bicker in a civil war for the Iron Throne of the Seven Kingdoms.  Meanwhile, in the frozen north, a strange threat looms: the Others, a.k.a The White Walkers, an ancient race of ice demons able to reanimate the dead.  At the same time, an exiled princess in the south seeks to reclaim her rightful place at the Iron Throne.  Though young and relatively powerless, her main advantage lies in her three dragons, the only dragons in the world.
